Big Climate Fightback

The Woodland Trust organised mass tree planting throughout the UK

At the end of November we participated in the Big Climate Fightback by planting 3 trees at the front of our school.  This nationwide event was organised by the Woodland Trust to help with the fight against climate change.  In school the planting was organised by Sabina who was helped by a group of our pupils and our site staff.

The Woodland Trust says ‘Trees lock up carbon, fight flooding, reduce pollution, nurture wildlife and make landscapes more resilient.  Every Tree Counts in the battle against climate change.’
