In September, as part of the national curriculum, our Year 5 pupils attended a week long, intensive swimming course at The London Aquatics Centre, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London. The Centre is an indoor facility with two 50-metre swimming pools and a 25-metre diving pool which was built to host the 2012 Olympics.
